Ingredients
Instructions
- 1
Soak the chia: put the chia seeds and warm water in a blender and let them sit 10 minutes until they turn into a thick gel. (Reel)
10 min - 2
Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment.
- 3
Add the rest: add the flax seeds, eggs, a pinch of salt and the baking powder to the blender. (Reel)
- 4
Blend well until it becomes a thick, speckled batter. It gets stiff fast, so scrape down the sides or use a tamper if needed. (Reel, tip from Luvele)
- 5
Pan it: pour into the lined loaf pan and smooth the top with a wet spatula. (Reel)
- 6
Bake 40 minutes, until the top is golden, it feels firm, and a toothpick in the center comes out clean. (Reel for time, doneness test from WIM4Life)
40 min - 7
Cool completely in the pan before lifting out and slicing, or it will be gummy inside.
